We love the Beltline, and recommend it as our favorite Mexican restaurant!
I tell you what.....there is NOTHING like having a WORLD FAMOUS WET BURRITO and an award winning MARGARITA from the Beltline Bar! A staple in our community and if you are a new resident to West Michigan, this will become one of your favorites! Great Food, Great atmosphere, and Great people who will take very good care of you!
Asked for a bunch of extra avocado ranch sauce with the bartender for our to go order, he claimed he 'got us' and even winked at me, got zero extra sides of sauce. I would think after spending $50 and leaving a $10 tip for a TO GO he could take a second to look things over. Service wasn't great to begin with, probably why it wasn't very busy in there.
I went to the Beltline Bar this evening. I ordered a Beltline Burger (cheese, lettuce and tomato... no fries). I paid $8.99 for a burger I could have gotten at McDonald's for a buck. It was a thin piece of beef on a large kaiser roll, thin slice of American cheese, and a few tiny shreds of chopped lettuce. I had to ask for some tomato and when that came it was very thin. They did splurge and give me a good sized slice of pickle. Lesson learned... don't order a burger at at Mexican Food restaurant. The waitress apparently had other things to do as we were not her top priority (I used to wait tables so, yes, I do know the difference). IF I was to pay full price for the burger and fries the waitress did not offer a substitute for the fries. I did tip, but definitely not as much as I usually do.
